Black Eyed Peas to return

By in February 18, 2014 • Filed in: Alerts, Black Eyed Peas, News and rumors

Black Eyed Peas are set to return next year.

The ‘I Gotta Feeling’ group –, Fergie, and Taboo – are getting back together for their first studio album and tour since ‘The Beginning’ in 2010.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “The Black Eyed Peas are all in agreement they should put a new tour on for the fans – it’s not like they properly split when they parted for a hiatus in 2012.

“This time around they’re going to head back into the studio and lay down a new album quickly and then hit the road once again.

“ has been instrumental in persuading all the Peas to get back into shape and hit the road again.”

The source says new mother Fergie – who has five-month-old son Axl Jack with her husband Josh Duhamel – has been holding the process up.

The insider added: “Fergie’s been stalling and wants to hold out for as much money as she can guarantee.

“She’s got a baby now and needs it to be a very worthy amount to make her take her baby on the road.”

The members of the group have been busy working on other projects since the band finished their last tour, with becoming a judge on ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ and releasing solo tracks, Taboo working on his own solo material and releasing an album ‘#willpower’ as well as judging ‘The Voice’ in the UK and being executive producer on Britney Spears’ last album ‘Britney Jean’. Angel love BEP (Black Eyed Peas) family… R.I.P… so sad.” She also posted a picture of herself posing with Lauher on a private jet. Fergie admits make-up is her ”passion”.

The Black Eyed Peas singer has teamed up with beauty brand Wet n Wild to come up with her own line of products, and she insists her cosmetics will be of a very high standard because of her knowledge of make-up.

She said: ”Make-up is a personal passion of mine, so I made sure that I touched and curated every single product in this collection to ensure we are offering the highest quality formulas, textures and shades available.”

She added: ”This was probably the most organic partnership I could have ever imagined. Wet n Wild, its owner, Eric Chen, and I come from the exact same place, a neighbourhood in LA called Hacienda Heights. I was Wet n Wild’s target customer while growing up, and now I have a chance to be part of its evolution. Creating a luxury product which is very affordable has been such an amazing journey for us. I’m extremely excited to be taking my partnership with Wet n Wild further by creating a complete make-up line that every woman can wear.”

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old star admits she can’t live without her nude lipstick and makes sure she carries it around with her every day in order to keep her lips hydrated.

She explained to Ireland’s U magazine: ”I always keep a Fergie Daily Lipstick with me. It’s a great nude that you can wear every day. Hence the name. I also keep moisturiser on hand – with all the travelling I do, I’m always hydrating. Hydrated skin also hold make-up the most evenly.” [Source]

Fergie Confirms a New Solo Album Is Coming Soon

By in January 8, 2014 • Filed in: Alerts, News and rumors

In the late summer of 2006, Fergie released her erroneously-spelled, debut solo album, The Dutchess. It would spawn more than a few hits, including “London Bridge,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Glamorous,” “Fergalicious” and “Clumsy,” and the album itself would go triple platinum. Fergie was on top of the world; she re-ignited America’s interest in spelling and Milo Ventimiglia shirtless. And then, nothing. In the seven years that have followed, Fergie has released 0 solo albums and only one solo single, “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody,” which I think we can all agree wasn’t exactly, well, fergalicious.

But all that’s in the past and now we have a new Fergie solo record to look forward to. At least, that’s what she claims in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest.

“[] knows that I want to do a solo album next, I think everyone knows that,” Fergie told the DJ. “The Dutchess was comprised of songs that were from a seven year period and a lot of people don’t know that. I’ve been writing down my ideas. I’ve been just in my cave, my little creative cave, and the ideas come when they come and that’s the beauty of it — so not forced. So when I do come out with my album, I’m going to be really proud of it.” Read full article.

Motherhood an amazing journey: Fergie

By in January 8, 2014 • Filed in: News and rumors

Singer Fergie believes that motherhood is an amazing journey, and says that the experience of family life is getting better for her every day.

The 38-year-old welcomed her first child, son Axl, in August with actor-husband Josh Duhamel.

“It’s been such an amazing journey for Josh and I so far, and each day gets more exciting,” quoted Fergie as saying.

The “Glamorous” hitmaker was back in the gym less than three months after giving birth to her baby in order to lose her post-pregnancy weight. Despite springing right back into shape, the blonde beauty says she still worries about her body.

“Let’s be truthful, who doesn’t have insecure moments. On stage or on the red carpet, it’s important to own your look and remember who you are,” Fergie said. [Source]

Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s Son Axl Gets Baptized (Photos)

With parents like Fergie and Josh Duhamel, performing is in little Axl Jack’s genes – but the 3½-month-old was perfectly behaved during his baptism on Thursday, an eyewitness tells PEOPLE.

The new parents, who welcomed their first child in August, and a small group of family members gathered at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood, Calif., for the intimate ceremony.

“Baby Axl wore all white and seemed very calm about being baptized. He didn’t cry at all,” the eyewitness says.

Fergie, 38, was also wearing white while her husband, 41, wore a dark suit for the short ceremony.

“They seemed happy when they left the church,” the eyewitness says. “Axl had fallen asleep in his dad’s arms and he looked adorable.”

Fergie revealed last month that she chose her baby’s name after dreaming of being at a concert featuring the Doors’ Jim Morrison, Bob Marley and Axl Rose.

“Some people may not like it, some people may think it’s really cool, but we don’t care,” Duhamel said earlier this year of their little rocker’s name.

Fergie Explains Baby Axl Jack’s Name, Says He’s Josh Duhamel’s “Little Mini Me”

By in November 22, 2013 • Filed in: News and rumors

Like the Black Eyed Peas song, Fergie “Just Can’t Get Enough” of her new little baby son, Axl Jack. Stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an interview airing Wednesday, Nov. 20, the “Fergalicious” singer opens up about welcoming her first child with husband Josh Duhamel on Aug. 29 of this year.

“It was really special. It was very special,” the new mom tells DeGeneres of her C-section delivery. “I see Josh’s face. They’re pulling Axl out. I can’t feel anything. I’m all numb. And I see Josh, and he’s going, ‘Aw,’ and he’s giving the faces, and I’m going, ‘Wow, I’m so happy. This moment is so special, so tender…'”

And so loud? “I hear screaming,” Fergie, 38, recalls. “And over the side comes Axl, and he’s screaming at me, crying. And I went, ‘Okay, the name works.'”

Speaking of the name, the Black Eyed Peas singer says it came to her in a dream. “I had this dream, and I was in the audience at this festival,” she explains. “It was outdoors and it was all grimy and nobody knew who I was. I was just one of the fans. It was like the old days. It was so cool. And onstage singing was Jim Morrison. And then came Bob Marley, and then Axl Rose.” Read full article.
